Privacy
Based on Article 13 of the Federal Constitution and the provisions of Swiss data protection legislation, everyone has the right to the protection of privacy, as well as to protection from misuse of their personal details.
Personal details
For each registered user on Deafzone the following personal details are stored:
- Entered account data (address, contact data, personal data etc.) and account preferences.
- Date, IP address and Browser data during login and date of logout.
- Incorrect form inputs (so we can optimize the usability of this website).
All other data are neither published nor stored. If an user account is being deleted, all the data listed above are removed completely from the database. Account data of the user are not published without permission of the owner of the account (= user). With account preferences, you can define which data are visible.
And of course, no information will ever be sold. If you have any questions about our privacy policy, please contact us.
Security
All passwords are encrypted with the RSA MD5 algorithm and are stored like a fingerprint in the database. Nobody, not even the administrator of this website, can read these passwords.
We treat money transfers and bank data like the Swiss banking secrecy, absolutely top secret. The money transfers are made by 128-bit or higher HTTPS encryption to safe gateways of the individual banks or credit card institutes.
Of course all on this website presented email addresses are coded with special HTML characters, so that spammers cannot interpret these to 95%.
